Communicating with family and caregivers
Communicating well with family and caregivers is key to maintaining a healthy support system for a person with MS. Family and caregivers accompanying people with MS to their appointments can offer many benefits, including help with informed decision-making, as well as allowing carers to gain a better understanding of the disease and how they can best support a PwMS; there are also more practical reasons, such as support travelling to and from appointments.
At MS21, understanding the thought processes behind the involvement of those who support people with MS is important.
By taking this short survey you will help us to understand the role that you see caregivers playing in the support and treatment of your patients with MS and the tools that we can create to better support them.
