Progress in MS care through the last decade and into the next: an update to the 2013 consensus of the MS in the 21st Century Steering Group
Alroughani et al., 2025
This poster was presented in-person at the annual congress of the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS) in 2025 by Dr Raed Alroughani. It showcases the results of an update to the 2013 consensus statement which lays out the priorities and recommendations for improving MS care to relieve people with MS (PwMS) of the burden of disease, from the perspective of both PwMS and health care professionals (HCPs).
Results of the Delphi process indicated that PwMS and HCPs are aligned on their top priorities for the future of MS care: access to quick and decisive treatment after diagnosis, access to multifunctional care, and development of treatment options to manage invisible symptoms.
